Last updated: 2025-09-24
1) Who are we?
BigBrain is published by Studio Dahu (Switzerland). For any questions regarding this policy or your data, contact us.
2) Data we collect
- Usage data: basic interactions in the app (screens opened, functions used), language, session metrics for stability and UX.
- Technical data: app version, device model, operating system, crash/diagnostic information where applicable.
- Purchase data: status of in-app purchases and subscriptions (active, expired) to unlock Premium features. We never receive card numbers.
- Support messages (only if you write to us): message content and your email address.
No account is required to use BigBrain. We do not collect your contacts, photos, precise location, health data, or personal identifiers.
3) Purposes of use
- Provide and improve the app: ensure proper functioning, diagnose issues, guide our product decisions.
- Premium Access: verify eligibility and manage access rights to paid features.
- Support: respond to your requests when you contact us.
4) Ad tracking and monitoring
We do not track you across other apps or sites, and we do not use targeted advertising SDKs. We do not sell your data.
5) Third-party services used
We use a limited number of providers for essential functions. They process data according to their privacy policies and/or our instructions:
- Apple App Store / Google Play: billing and subscription management.
- Qonversion (subscriptions/rights): purchase validation and restoration of access across devices.
6) Legal bases
We process data based on contractual performance (during an in-app purchase) and our legitimate interest (providing and securing the service, fixing bugs, improving the product).
7) Retention periods
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide BigBrain and to meet legal/accounting obligations, then we delete or anonymize it.
8) Children
BigBrain is designed for families and learning. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app works without an account and without sharing identifying information. Parents/guardians can contact us.
9) International transfers
Depending on your location and the services used, data may be processed in other countries. Where applicable, we apply appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).
10) Your rights
Under applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing. Since BigBrain does not create user accounts, most data is stored on your device or aggregated. If you wish to delete support communications, write to us.
11) Subscriptions & refunds
Purchases and refunds are managed by Apple/Google according to their policies. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store / Google Play account settings.
12) Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
13) Data deletion & reset
- On-device: you can clear certain local data via the app settings (e.g., reset progress/statistics) if this option is available in your version.
- Support emails: request deletion by writing from the contact page.
14) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is published on this page with the 'Last updated' date.
15) Contact
For any questions or requests regarding privacy, contact Studio Dahu.
Note: this policy reflects the current operation of BigBrain. If we add or remove SDKs/features (e.g., analytics, crash reporting), we will update this page.
